Dumbbell Exercises

Dumbbells train each side of the body on its own, so a strong limb cannot quietly carry a weak one the way it does on a barbell. The free path also lets the joint rotate through the rep instead of being locked to a fixed bar, which usually means a longer working range and less shoulder and wrist strain. A single adjustable pair covers pressing, pulling, raising, and carrying for a whole home gym.

Why train with dumbbell

  • Expose and fix left-to-right strength differences one limb at a time
  • Free rotation through the rep for a longer, more comfortable range
  • One adjustable pair covers press, row, raise, curl, and carry
  • Lower injury risk than barbell work when training without a spotter
