AI Workout Generator
The FitFocus AI workout generator (ffocus.me) is a free browser tool that writes a complete 2 to 4 day training split from your fitness level, goal and available equipment in under a minute. One full program is free with no card and no app install. Unlimited generations, plan history and PDF export are $9.99 per month.
What the generator gives you
- A 2 to 4 day training week with each day assigned a focus, rather than a single workout
- Named exercises for every session with sets, reps and rest already prescribed
- An animated demonstration for each movement, drawn from a library of 1,365 exercises
- A written form guide with common mistakes and easier and harder variations on the 206 core movements
- A plan sized to your equipment, so a bodyweight-only week never prescribes a cable machine
What you supply
- Your training age: complete beginner, returning after a break, or already training consistently
- Your goal: weight loss, muscle gain, or maintaining what you have
- How many days a week you can realistically train
- What equipment you can reach, from nothing at all to a full gym
- Your activity level outside the gym, which changes how much volume the week can absorb
How it works
- 1
Set your level and goal
Choose your training experience and whether you are training for weight loss, muscle gain or maintenance. The goal changes the split, the rep ranges and how much cardio the week carries.
- 2
Set your days and equipment
Pick how many days a week you can train and what equipment you have. The generator only prescribes movements you can actually perform with what you listed.
- 3
Generate the program
The AI writes the full training week in under a minute: which day trains what, which exercises, and the sets and reps for each.
- 4
Check the form guides
Every prescribed exercise links to its own page with an animated demonstration, numbered steps, target muscle and difficulty, so you can see the movement before you attempt it.
- 5
Regenerate or keep it
If the split does not suit your week, generate again with different inputs. Premium keeps your plan history so you can return to a program that worked.
What it does not do
- It does not autoregulate. The generator writes the program; it will not raise your working weights from logged sets the way Dr. Muscle or Fitbod do.
- There is no native iOS or Android app and no offline mode. It runs in a browser.
- It does not periodise for competitive strength sport. If you are peaking for a powerlifting meet, this is not the right tool.
- Camera-based rep counting covers push-ups and squats only, not every movement in the plan.
Frequently asked questions
Is the AI workout generator free?
Yes. One complete workout program is free with no card and no account requirement beyond signing in. Premium at $9.99 per month adds unlimited generations, saved plan history and PDF export. The full exercise library and every form guide are free to browse regardless.
How long does it take to generate a workout plan?
Under a minute in normal conditions. You answer five short questions about level, goal, days available, equipment and activity, and the complete training week comes back with exercises, sets and reps already assigned.
Do I need gym equipment to use it?
No. Tell the generator you have no equipment and it builds the week from bodyweight movements only. The library carries several hundred exercises that need nothing but floor space, so a home program is not a stripped-down version of the gym one.
Can I use an AI workout generator as a beginner?
This is the case it suits best. Beginners usually fail on two things: choosing a sensible split, and not knowing what a prescribed movement looks like. The generator decides the split for you, and every exercise it names links to an animated demonstration with written cues.
How is this different from a workout tracker?
A tracker records training you already planned. A generator decides the plan. Hevy and JEFIT started as trackers; Fitbod, Dr. Muscle, Alpha Progression and FitFocus write the program. If you already have a coach or a program you trust, you want a tracker, not this.
Does it include a meal plan?
Not in the same output, but the same account and the same profile drive the AI meal planner, so both plans come from one subscription rather than two. Most competing workout apps have no nutrition side at all.
